Welcome to my site! My vibrant works of art are unique because they are created on steel canvases, utilizing acrylic paints that interact with the metal, sparking oxidation. This process yields bold, abstract patterns of rust, color, and texture.
A clear finish then locks in the vivid hues, enhances the visual depth, and halts the oxidation to preserve the piece indefinitely.

Jay Zinn has been creating art since childhood, later studying at the Central Academy of Commercial Arts and learning under renowned artists like Byron Birdsall and Mike Elsass. His work spans from licensed decorative pieces to striking abstract art on rusted steel, featured in galleries and owned by private collections worldwide. Though art is now a part-time pursuit, Jay continues to take commissions for original pieces.
